As I was making the decision to leave medical school early last year, I felt so confused about what it is I truly wanted to do with my life and lost control of not only my mental game, but also my physical well being. I ate EVERYTHING due to stress and blew up in no time. It wasn't until I decided to be honest with myself and really listen to my body that I was able to turn things around and find peace and clarity again. I kept a photo-log in my phone where I took pictures of myself while losing weight and they helped me stay on my diet when anxiety and food cravings hit. One year later I am happy to find myself in a good place in my own life to help inspire others to keep pushing and find the courage to do the things they think they can't. I love Liza!!! from the first time we spoke on the phone to book our photoshoot, I knew she was gonna be a good fit!! :) Her highly professional attention to detail was clear even before we actually met! She did her best to understand what I needed the shoot for and made herself available at short notice because I had a deadline. She periodically checked in days prior to the shoot to make sure I was prepared with outfit changes and makeup and was just really positive which made me feel like I was about to have a photoshoot with a close friend! Meeting her was so much fun and shooting with her felt so natural and comfortable that it showed in the photos! Liza was very patient and made sure each shot showed my best angles and took the time to pose me every step of the way, and even fix my hair that just would not cooperate! :P Liza definitely has a unique way of making people feel good about themselves, AND capturing this through her photography- which is what made me choose Picturecure in the first place. I really believe in the value Picturecure aims to bring to people's lives- even beyond the camera and the photos. Liza's photos are are amazing, but her ability to see and bring out the best in people is priceless :) I was proud to have been accepted as a contestant at Miss Philippines 2017. Excited for my 'transformation' story and photos to be featured in Liza Andrews 's book PICTURECURE: YOU BEYOND THE MIRROR to be published soon!

I highly recommend PictureCure, directed by business consultant and photographer Liza Andrews. Their differential is that Andrews created a method of self-improvement, that puts together formal business coaching with stimulating new tools — photography and body language exercises. I would have never imagined how cameras could help in this field! Very unique and effective. Andrews expertly puts people at ease and guides them to achieve professional goals by improving their self-image and empowering their own “brand.” My staff loved the experience, which was goal-oriented and effective, but less stiff than regular business coaching programs.

When I discovered the Reinvention Studio, I suffered from anxiety and low self-esteem due to having been obese my entire life. I became addicted to sugar as a way to make up for my frustrations, and being a patisserie chef didn’t make it easier for me to change my eating habits. During my Free Consultation, I confess that even though I loved the proposal, and was willing to give it a shot, I was not holding my breath about losing weight. All I expected was becoming more photogenic and having some nice pictures to remember my forties. I had already received stomach reduction surgery years prior, and despite the initial weight loss, I went back to being obese. I barely looked in the mirror - I had no vanity; makeup, manicured nails and hair styling were alien to me. I hadn’t dated in years, and my focus was on my daughter and my career. So, where to start?
When we started the program, Liza Andrews (the instructor) and I talked about my problems and my seemingly impossible goals. Together, we designed an improvement plan that was realistic to my lifestyle during and after the session. Liza showed me the importance of taking photos not only to follow up my progress, but to cheer me up. I was up to a great surprise. Along the program, I was introduced to a dormant beautiful woman inside me, and I learned how to awaken her.
Several hours later, I still weighed the same, but after experiencing new looks and learning a lot about how to highlight the best in me, I already looked and felt as a better version of myself. I posed confidently in front of the camera, and I went home burning with the fire of hope. I used those photos from our initial session to keep a motivational conversation with the “new me”. And started a daily photo-log to encourage me to go on with my personal project. Liza said that if I felt comfortable, I should post photos of my progress to gain support from my family and friends. It was really helpful.
From sedentary, I started walking 4 miles a day. And from a sugar addict, I became a juice fan! My mood, self-esteem and energy levels were improving dramatically and with them, finally, my body. Nothing better than having a clear goal and all the steps to get there, combined with a visual aid. The photos did the trick. Seeing my new self made me change my negative opinions about myself and believing that I deserved to take care of myself too. For me, this was a true experience of learning - for the first time in my life - to love myself! Eight months later and 50 pounds less, I returned for my final photoshoot. I couldn't be happier with the results. I feel attractive and confident and fully adjusted to a routine of healthy food and exercises. I enjoy shopping for clothes, accessories and spending time at a salon. I am dating again and teaching my daughter the importance of self-love. I highly recommend the Reinvention Studio. It changed my life - inside out - and forever!

I really enjoyed my experience with Picture Cure. Liza taught me what faces make me look best in pictures. After some time practicing it, I feel like it's in muscle memory now and I can pull them off whenever a camera is in front of me. I feel much more confident in having my picture taken and knowing exactly what I'll look like and how I'll want to look in the picture. Thanks, Liza! Every actor should take this workshop!

"I'm sharing a unique experience. About a month ago, I went for a photo shoot with the very talented photographer and writer Liza Andrews. Her work is truly exquisite because she has the ability to capture the prettiest, sexiest and most enigmatic in us - things that we didn't even know were there! I just needed some professional pictures, but in Liza's workshop I had all this training to pose and, look at the results. This is my photo, with no filter or Photoshop!!
I thing we all need a day like that, with LIGHT, CAMERA, and... an amazing photographer. I highly recommend her work! "

"I didn't know PictureCure until I won their workshop as a Christmas gift. When I saw the photos on the website I already notice that it wasn't an ordinary work. When I learned that Liza Andrews did free work for women recovering from cancer, I was sure that her job provided much more than beautiful photographs. It seemed a work done with love, commitment and devotion. All that was confirmed when after I scheduled my appointment, she called me personally to get to know me better, learn about my preferences and what I expected from the photoshoot. She spoke about her work and about the program she was planning for my session, so when I got there, I felt comfortable and knew exactly what to expect. Liza also gave e valuable tips about makeup, outfits and accessories, always taking into consideration my personal taste and what matched my body type and skin, eye, hair color. I was a bit concerned about the production, because I had just moved to NYC and brought very little in my wardrobe. I was glad to know that she had outfits, jewelry, hats and even shoes in her studio. She sees one client at a time and has no assistants, so clients have full privacy . Since I didn't want to hire a makeup artist and hair stylist, Liza helped me with my makeup and hair, changing it several times along the sessions. She was extremely attentive and helped me combined clothes and accessories for every shot. Attempt to details She didn't hesitate changing the light settings several times to achieve different effects. Learning how to be more photogenic, and pose like a "model", trying different outfits, furs and very high heels I had never tried before was an incredible experience. Liza did capture the best in me and I left the studio happy, fulfilled, and feeling "powerful" because my photos came out great! I believe that all of us deserve this glamour. We all deserve one enchanted day to feel like a princess, and having a photoshoot with a devoted professional such as Liza is truly special. I loved it!

I'm a millennium, working at a company where decisions are made by people 20 years my senior. PictureCure's professional coaching helped me become more articulated and get more attention during meetings. There's still a lot to improve, but now I know which steps to take. I'm a long way ahead from where I started!

I wanted a program to explore my heritage and it was essential to work with somebody with complementary experience. My sessions with PictureCure were life-changing, and included engaging conversation and photos that made me extremely proud of my race, and inspired to help young black women who suffer from prejudice. I traveled to Africa after that, and Liza's photos of me in African-inspired themes became part of her Fine Art exhibit Roots, in New York City. PictureCure donated the funds of the sales to Fraternity without Borders, the children focused foundation I had helped in Mozambique.

Liza’s talent and patience are admirable. The workshop was a boost on my self-esteem. It couldn’t be better. I learned so many tips on moves, body language, posture, colors, make up and style, that I’m surprised!! I have learned in a very fun way how to be more confident, and that makes a huge difference in my life. I have been using her tips on my every day life not only when I am taking pictures. The workshop is fun and time flies when you are having a good time. I have to confess I was anxious and tense with the idea of the workshop, but once Liza starts explaining and teaching, it all makes sense and becomes so simple. I highly recommend her workshop for every person, and it is also the best gift option as it will make someone feel good and confident. Thank you so much Liza!!! You rock!!!

It was an amazing experience! I was already familiar with Liza’s talent as a photographer so my expectations were high. What really impressed me, however, was her ability to make me feel completely at ease. I learned tips that I will definitely use in the future when in front of a camera, while being treated like a queen. I left the studio with an enhanced self-esteem, empowered and with a great feeling of gratitude.
